Cultural tipping point action plan: good civil goals fused to ethical rights   promoting the positive, banishing toxic culture: Towards good & right for everyone Every day the world over people are doing the right thing.  They get up and work on solving the big problems we face and they are creating solutions.  Unfortunately there are too many people whose good/goals serve only themselves. For their good they must tear down the stuctures that have built our civil societies.  In our toxic culture of lies and greed we find ourselves at a cultural tipping point:  Pandora's chest is wide open:  technology with great threat & promise balanced on a knife edge of conscience (gene editing/drive technology; Live fake video; 3d printing; voice duplication; Job loss to AI tech; loss of privacy...)  Toxic culture thrives- empowered liars destroy the trust and respect required in a civil society.  Climate chaos is ending our faith in each other while the greedy seek to capitalize every last fossil fuel dollar. From obscene pharmaceutical prices; obscene CEO compensation;  insecure housing and work; paying creative artists peanuts for their music; we see corruption greed & bad behaviour everywhere.  Corruption so pervasive Industries built on the altruism of others choose business models that harm people even though gifted their products (insulin; Linux; the GPL; the Creative Commons;...)  The foundations of civil society:  duel paradigms of Good and Right, have been under attack for decades: me generation; greed is good generation.  The Good, defined by aspirations and goals have turned negative, everyone for themselves. The civil good subsumed by the goals of greedy corrupt actors, results in ever greater inequity and social disruption.  Right, the rule of law, conscience and justice  are shredded by graft, corruption, fear, hypocrisy and lies  The rule of law disappears when there is no one to apply it, no Justice when there is no one to enforce it,  no conscience when the worst of the corrupt are held up as examples to emulate. Ending this cycle of destruction starts with acknowledging the patterns and changing them. Good and right individually have failed us, our need is to fuse good civil goals with ethical rights for everyone. We may never agree on every good/goal, but we can start putting civil society first.  Restoring conscience and consequences with a Justice that is not blind, will help restore the rule of law. Analyzing our own goals and those of people around us we can begin to ask the quesion do these goals help or hurt others?  Sometimes there is no other solution, but at least we can see the flaws, and works towards better solutions.     In the  now & near future  as AI's and robots are running the machines of Industry, driving our cars, building our structures, growing our food, erasing many job categories, we will need to be our better selves.  At this moment of toxic culture, powerful scary tech is within the reach of many, only good insight &  aspirations fused to the right of good conscience & rule of law will keep us civil.  We can start helping each other, or continue hurting each other on a massive new scale.Nudging our way to our better selves is a starting point. Conceptualize good fused to right for everyone: Goodright. Lets stop rewarding bad behaviour and start promoting good and right for everyone.  I grew up in a family where we were constantly correcting each other on our grammar, we wound up with decent grammar. We need to nudge toward decency, toward goodright now.
